All of my pieces are made from clay, primarily stoneware. I make a variety of figures, from miniatures, which are usually no more than six inches tall, to larger figures, which range from 12-20 inches tall. I also make stand alone busts and masks which may be hung on a wall, and a potpourri of pieces including various animals and sea shells. They are finished with underglazes, slips, oxides, stains, or a cold finish. The pieces are first bisque fired, after which the paint is applied. They may go through several firings before I am satisfied with the results.
